International standards should be enforced on Pak-Afghan border: Khawaja Asif
Federal Defence Minister Khawaja Asif has suggested international standards, customs and traditions on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, which will curb free movement of terrorists.
In a tweet, the federal minister said following an escalation in the acts of terrorism in Pakistan, there was a dire need to revamp the border security. “The hub of terrorists hitting Pakistan is in Afghanistan and despite repeated efforts, Kabul is not doing anything in this regard,” he said, adding the hideouts of terrorists were in the knowledge of Kabul but still the terrorists were operating from Afghanistan freely.
