FALSE-FLAG OPERATIONS AS INDIA’S POLICY TOOL FOR STRATEGICMANEUVERS

India’s aspiration to build a new regional dominance was thwarted by the Pakistan Air
Force on February 27, 2019, a day now known as Surprise Day. The Balakot incident
revealed India’s false flag operation in Pulwama and India’s inadequate military
preparedness. It reinforced Pakistan’s conventional deterrence and the strength of
the Pakistan Armed Forces. As a result, the 27th of February will forever be
remembered as an unforgettable surprise for India.
The WhatsApp scandal involving Arnab Goswami Indian anchor, exposes the shady
relationship between the Indian government and its media, which is threatening to
escalate the nuclearized region into a war. The conversations revealed the malevolent
schemes devised by the authoritarian government of Modi. Moreover, it demonstrates
that the Modi administration exploited the Balakot incident for electoral purposes,
a claim Pakistan made during the 2019 UNGA session.
The war hysteria of the Indian media is evidenced by the fact that they begin
blaming Pakistan even before an investigation is complete following any terrorist
incident that occurs in India. However, the Modi government can no longer conceal the
truth from the public. Under the guise of religion, India, an extremist nation, is
threatening the lives and property of minorities, particularly Muslims.
Over the years, Extremist India has participated in numerous false flag operations
against Pakistan. Notable examples include the 2008 Mumbai attacks, the 2016
Pathankot Air Base attack, and the Uri military base attack. Recently, on January 26,
2023, in IIJOK, Pakistani intelligence agencies exposed another false flag operation
conducted by the fanatical Modi regime.
These fabricated operations align with the Indian hybrid strategy, which has
developed over time to accuse Pakistan of financing terrorism in the area. Since
the primary objective was to manipulate the domestic political climate and deflect
international attention away from Kashmir, the timing of these operations has
remained considerable.
An alarming campaign orchestrated by Indian RAW agents, under the direction of
the authoritarian Government, has been uncovered to assassinate Gurpatwant Singh
Pannun, a representative of Sikhs for Justice. The recent detention of eight Indian Naval
personnel in Qatar for espionage highlights the malicious agenda of India’s
intelligence in the Middle East, prompting worries about spying operations.
Considering the prevailing domestic environment in India, it is indisputable that
India will undoubtedly execute another deceptive maneuver in pursuit of its
geostrategic and political goals. The potential for a false flag operation to occur is
highly probable, given that the Indian government’s contentious legislation and other
political maneuvers have compelled farmers, and Muslim and Sikh minorities, to
congregate on roads. In addition to this, the escalating acts of violence in Occupied
Kashmir by India and the subsequent revocation in August 2019 have prompted
international censure of the extremist policies pursued by the Modi administration.
India is intentionally seeking an opportunity to conduct another false flag operation
under the pretext of blaming Pakistan. Moreover, India’s intention in executing a false
flag operation is to deflect international attention away from the atrocities it has been
perpetrating in the territory it has occupied in Kashmir. India is formulating a strategy
to shift focus away from internal matters by implementing a strike. Pakistan has
highly reliable intelligence information that India is preparing to execute a false flag
operation.
It is worth mentioning that the present Indian government is confronted with a
multitude of domestic challenges. Economic difficulties, insurgencies, protests, and
religious extremism are a few examples. The Indian government’s frustration has been
further exacerbated by the reports of Human Rights Watch, the US Commission on
Religious Freedom, and the EU DisInfo Lab in this regard. India’s potential for
conducting a false flag operation is exceedingly improbable under these
conditions.
The aforementioned alarming facts unveil a disconcerting trend of manipulation
and deception implemented by India as a strategic maneuver. The BJP employs
strategic maneuvers in its pursuit of a third term in office during the 2024 Indian
election cycle, which raises concerns about the possibility of another false flag
operation to obtain public support and votes. Targeting foreign and domestic
minorities, thereby emphasizing the possible employment of falsehood as statecraft.
Therefore, it is evident that India, currently governed by an extremist regime, has
deliberately incited war hysteria against Pakistan. It has neglected the possibility that
a further escalation beyond a certain threshold could lead to a full-scale conflict,
potentially accompanied by the apprehension of the inaugural nuclear exchange between
the two nations. The escalation of Indian war rhetoric against Pakistan and its
preparations for a false flag operation has significantly amplified the importance of
the Kashmir dispute as a “nuclear flashpoint.”
Pakistan’s astute diplomatic position, which emphasized India’s intentional
attempt to disrupt regional stability and peace, has proven to be fruitful in this
regard. By exposing anti-Pakistan war rhetoric and the possibility of a false flag operation,
this strategy has provided a plausible exit. Pakistan must uphold a resolute demonstration
of its politico-diplomatic prowess to dissuade India from engaging in any future
transgressions.
