DPM/FM Dar appreciates Iranian FM for his comments regarding Pakistan’s role

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Saturday, appreciated Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi for his comments on the social media platform X, regarding Pakistan’s efforts for peace in the region.  

The Iranian foreign minister, while rejecting certain media reports, expressed his gratitude to Pakistan for its efforts to ensure peace in the region and said that they never refused to go to Islamabad. 

The DPM/FM reciprocated on X by saying “Truly appreciate your clarification, my Dear Brother,” and also tagged the Iranian foreign minister.

In his post, the Iranian foreign minister clarified, “We are deeply grateful to Pakistan for its efforts and have never refused to go to Islamabad,” expressing concerns about the US terms for a conclusive and lasting end to the ongoing war.
