DPM/FM Dar, Cuban FM reaffirm commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations

Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Wednesday met with Foreign Minister of Cuba Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla on sidelines of the UN Security Council Open Debate.
During the meeting, they discussed regional developments and reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening Pakistan–Cuba relations and exploring new avenues of mutually beneficial cooperation.
DPM/FM also recalled with gratitude Cuba’s support to Pakistan during the 2005 earthquake, while FM Parilla appreciated Pakistan’s solidarity and assistance during natural disasters experienced by his country.
Both sides reiterated their commitment to further the relations and explore new avenues of cooperation that are mutually beneficial to the people of both countries.
