Pakistan, Turkiye pledge to deepen brotherly relations

Ambassador of Turkiye to Pakistan Dr Irfan Naziroglu called on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi in Islamabad today.

During the meeting, they expressed determination to further strengthen the brotherly relations between the two countries.

The Governor and the Turkish Ambassador also discussed increasing cooperation in the fields of trade, investment, education and culture, and promoting economic ties between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Turkiye.

Faisal Karim Kundi appreciated Turkiye’s full support to Pakistan during the recent Pakistan-India war.

The Turkish Ambassador said that Peshawar will be declared a sister city of a city in Turkiye.

He said Turkiye will cooperate in providing training opportunities to Pakistani youth in the fields of IT and modern technology.
