US reaffirms commitment to regional security cooperation with Pakistan
The US Department of State’s Deputy Spokesperson, Vedant Patel, has reiterated the shared commitment between the US and Pakistan to tackle regional security threats.
Vedant Patel, Deputy Spokesperson for the US Department of State, highlighted Pakistan’s sacrifices in the war on terror and expressed full support for their ongoing struggle.
“We have a shared interest with Pakistan in combating threats to regional stability,” he said. “We recognise the sacrifices they’ve made and fully support their struggle.”
The US has also expressed its support for measures aimed at ensuring the safety and security of Pakistani citizens, emphasizing the importance of upholding the rule of law and protecting human rights in the country.
Regarding the involvement of RAW in a conspiracy to kill an American citizen, Patel demanded accountability from the Indian government and emphasized the importance of taking action against those responsible.
