This requires constitutional amendments. Constitutional amendments are only possible through a clear majority in parliament, which is a great challenge for the BJP, especially in South India, where the people are more civilized, educated, liberal and syncretic Very cunningly, BJP has come up with political machinations like De-limitation Act, One Nation – One Election Initiative to increase Hindu Belt seats in the Assembly. Going a step further, now it seems that Election Commission of India has also colluded with BJP by showing its inability to hold elections through Electronic Voting Machines, giving free hand to BJP/ Hindutva Aligned Parties to rig/ manipulate upcoming elections to their own advantage particularly in South Indian States.
