India’s RAW agents implicated in alleged assassination plot, US demands action
An official investigation in India has unearthed shocking allegations implicating Indian agents in a conspiracy to assassinate a prominent Sikh leader in America. The agents, purportedly affiliated with India’s intelligence agency RAW, stand accused of involvement in the sinister plot.
The revelation has drawn attention to what some critics describe as a troubling transformation within RAW. Now, under scrutiny, the agency faces accusations of morphing into what detractors label as a group of “rogue assassins,” allegedly carrying out clandestine operations under the guise of state authority.
The alleged target, Sikh leader Gurpatwant Singh Pannu, is known for his outspoken criticism of the Indian government and its policies, particularly those associated with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Hindutva ideology.
In November of last year, American officials disclosed details of the purported assassination plot, pointing fingers squarely at Indian secret agents. According to reports, these agents reportedly sought to silence Pannu, perceived as a thorn in the side of the Indian establishment.
