MUSLIMS GENOCIDE IN INDIA PREDICTED IN 2025

With the current Muslim Genocide in #Gaza receiving little to no accountability from both the international community and the rights organizations, fascist states like India, ruled by rightwing #Hindu Nationalist #NarendraModi, stand assured of impunity for its attempt of a similar genocide in India. Genocide Watch, a globally recognized organization dedicated to monitoring and raising awareness about genocide and mass atrocities, has sounded the alarm on the speedy progression toward the potential genocide of Muslims in India. Gregory Stanton, the organization’s head, known for predicting the Rwandan genocide five years before its occurrence, during a ‘US congressional briefing, warned of early “signs and processes” of genocide in India. He pointed to the revocation of the special autonomous status of IIOJK and the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act (which granted citizenship to religious minorities but excluded Muslims) as Modi’s Hindutva policies, signaling the imminent genocide of Muslims. Stanton’s model of genocide, known as ‘The Ten Stages of Genocide,’ illustrates India’s dramatic progression through these stages over the years. The stages include classification and symbolization, discrimination and dehumanization, organized persecution, extermination, and denial, aiming to erase both the victims and the memory of their suffering. Genocide Watch currently categorizes the #BJP government’s actions against Muslims and Dalits as stage 6: Polarization, stage 7: Preparation, and stage 8: Persecution. The report highlights Modi’s statement at Aligarh Muslim University, where he claimed that his new anti-Muslim laws are intended to “uplift the Muslim community,” as indicative of stage 10: denial—a step on the escalation ladder often followed by genocide. With the relentless violence and extremism against minorities especially Muslims, fueled by state-induced impunity and complicity, the possibility of Muslims’ genocide occurring in India becomes imminent as early as 2025.
