Federal govt has issued a notification in Faizabad sit-in inquiry case. Commission will investigate financial assistance, whether illegal or any other form of assistance, provided to TLP for Faizabad dharna. It will recommend an inquiry against those issuing fatwas or directives to incite violence on SM inquiry against individuals or public office holders for negligence in violating law, determine individuals or public office holders involved in unlawful activities in secret organizations, govt agys, & others.

Purpose of discussing Faizabad Dharna case & related TORS is to highlight that judicial commission for Faizabad Dharna, through its TORS, establishes that allegations of unchecked power & favoritism against estb are merely a ruse. Real centre of power in cty is the judiciary, & there is no doubt that in Pak, Parliament, estb, & other institutions are dependent on judiciary.

Speaking of judicial power, these courts declared Nawaz Sharif ineligible, opened courts during no- confidence movement against IK in wee hours of night, & IK, when arrested, was brought to courts by court order. Individual opinion act in Pb Assembly, during election of CM, was delayed by court order.

4 yrs ago, Nawaz Sharif, on court’s order, went outside for treatment & then courts granted bail to Nawaz Sharif. Still, people also accuse estb, suggesting that estb is real source of power. It is evident that current mil ldrship does not want to plunge cty into further crises & stands humbly before law. Their commitment is clear to avoid any conflict & resolve cty’s fundamental & real issues without getting entangled in matters irrelevant to nation’s future.
